Scott Robson

Executive Director

Scott Robson joined the Civic Center Conservancy in April 2018 and brings to the organization over 20-years of leadership experience in both the non-profit and government realms.  Scott is a native of Denver with a background in public policy, urban planning and project management and most recently served as the Executive Director of Colorado’s oldest non-profit organization, the 105-year old Colorado Mountain Club.  Scott was previously appointed by former Denver Mayor Hickenlooper & Mayor Vidal to the roles of Manager and Deputy Manager of Denver Parks & Recreation between 2007-2011 where he was involved in a diverse range of policy making, project management, development of public/private partnerships and execution of major public events.
 

Robson’s earlier endeavors include roles as the Executive Director of the Evergreen Park and Recreation District, Director of City of Louisville Parks & Recreation, and Projects Manager for the National Park Service.  A long-time member of Denver’s Park People Board of Directors, Scott received his bachelor’s degree in Architecture & Planning from the University of Colorado-Boulder, and his master’s degree in Community Planning & Public Policy from the University of Oregon.
