(DENVER) - March 16, 2010 - With the Denver Biennial of the Americas poised to provide short-term activation and public use of the McNichols Building during July 2010, the Denver Office of Cultural Affairs, the Civic Center Conservancy and City Councilwoman Jeanne Robb hosted two public input sessions in Spring 2010 regarding the long-term future of the McNichols Building.
"The historic Carnegie Library’s restoration to public use is an opportunity to create a tremendous activation engine and amenity for Civic Center and Denver at large," said Lindy Eichenbaum Lent, executive director of the Civic Center Conservancy.
Many thanks to the community members who participated. A summary of both public meetings is available here.
